Sunday May 19 will be the first official “Wheel Fun” Day in West Hartford, which will celebrate the joys of bicycling and pedestrian-friendly streets.
Wheel Fun Day will launch with a group bicycle ride, Bike Down Main, which will begin at the Whole Foods parking lot in Bishops Corner at 8:00 a.m. and move down Main Street to West Hartford Center and the Town Hall parking lot to the primary festivities for the day, including: live music,performers, including an acrobatic bicyclist and antique bicycle show. You can't miss the programs for kids, including bicycle decorating, safety classes, helmet fittings, a hot wheels race and a scavenger hunt!
